Insulated dish

I want to buy one that will keep food hot for camping and picnics. Seen an oven to table one but its £40 plus p&p which seems like a lot. Any recommendations? It doesn't need to be an oven to table one - just something that I could transfer cooked food into to transport. TIA

I'd use an ordinary dish or container wrapped in a tea-towel inside a cool bag. Will do the same job, just insulate what you have.

Thanks Moshie how long would it stay hot for do you think?

I wouldn't expect it to stay hot for longer than an hour or so, if you need it to stay hot for longer I would look for a food flask.

how about Thermos Insulated Food Server comes in 3 sizes

there are also various size food flasks if you search for thermos food in Amazon.
