have you a pound stretchers nearby?

NellieTheEllie · 14/07/2009 22:15

B and Q are slightly cheaper than Toys R Us. Just check it is play sand and not the building stuff

tesco is quite good i think, elc is shocking!!

Hulababy · 14/07/2009 22:16

Toys R Us were £4.99 a bag, and I needed 4 bags - so £20. That seems a lot!

Tesco had 10kg bags at 2 for £4 last week.

NB do not fill the sandpit

so long as you can't see the bottom that is fine

then top up as it mysteriously disappears (mostly into the bath IME)

definitely don't get builder's sand by accident - it's bloody sharp! That's what we had to play with, in an old sink...
ee, times were 'ard back then....
