domestic bore 2 - are glass kettles more healthy

In anticipation of my spending spree at the Debenhams sale - dh insists metal kettles are unhealthy as they leak minute amounts of metal into the water which slowly poisons over the years. He wants my to buy a glass one. Is there any truth in his claims or has he quite simply lost the plot (again)?

Seems logical, but I don't actually know, sorry

It will show horrendous lime scale, you'll be forever cleaning it.

Buy a plastic one if he doesn't want metal.

he hates plastic even more!

let your DH buy the Le Creuset saucepan, and tell him if he wants a cuppa he can boil the water himself, in the saucepan
