Hi anyone know of opticians offering good deals for childrens prescription glasses ie free spare pair or free sunglasses etc?

ask you prescriber to write up 2 pairs, we always get 2 pairs as standard and he wrote in transition lenses and sunglasses too, worth asking, though my dd has quite serious visual issues

I don't think I've ever seen any deals but most places you don't have to pay anyway.

you dont get deals on kids glasses as they are free anyway,
all you do is get your new prescription, and wait a couple of weeks, phone them and say lo has lost them, and then you will get a new pair as a spare,

In specsavers you get one pair of child's glasses on prescription and a second pair half price (usually about £30).

MrsMcCluskey · 14/07/2009 13:14

specsavers give you 2 pairs

sazm · 14/07/2009 21:20

our specsavers dont do either of those offers
