I have just had a newbaby. I was getting into 38c mothercare maternity bras. These fit, but feel I might need a little more room to put in breast pads as breast feeding now.

What size should I aim for 38d or 40c ??

I cant pop alomg to mcare as it is too far for me to travel and cat drive.

any advice ??

I'd go for the bigger cup if your exsisting bra feels ok around the back. So i'd go for the 38d.

Personally i've always bought the same bra size in nursing and maternity bra's and they've always been fine. My boobs don't seem to grow much apart from day 3 til around day 21 postnatal when they are a bit engorged. After that they are fine in my usual size of 36dd.

Good luck getting the right bra
