Ipod Shuffle for DS aged 10?

are they easy and straightforward? im an ipod/mp3 virgin so no nothing!!

The ipod shuffle is really easy, fine for any child above about 7 I would say. You have to set up itunes on your computer to get some music on to the shuffle so that might need some adult help.

Some friends bought shuffles for their dd's who are 9 and 7. They have said they were a mistake as the children couldn't find the songs they wanted to play as there is no screen to see the playlists. Our dd got an ipod nano when she was 8 and loves it. Very straight forward. Costs more I know but worth it.
