small garden:toy recommendations for a 4 year old and 18mth old ds

want something they can both sort of play with and entertain them for hour or so so i can do some housework lol

Bucket/bowl of water and a paint brush. Painting the garden/patio/fence kept mine happy for ages.

Make a den/tent for them & teddies?

Tea set with water.

Or did you mean a suggestion to go out & buy?

Bucket/trug of water (the bigger the better) and small watering cans each. They fill the cans from the bicket and then water the garden (and each other) for you. Keeps my 16mo and 3yo amused for ages.

My 18mth old and 4 year old keep very happy with small plastic animals. Hide in bushes. Make a safari. Play hide and seek with them. Get them muddy.

yes i ws thinking of buying some new toys as the ones we have ar a bit tatty want something that both of them will enjoy
