Can anyone recommend any.
Want a decent size for A4 folder, raincoat and lunch box on occasion but not massive so that it drags her backwards.
Are those diagonal strap ones better?

the diagonal strap ones aren't as good IMO.... DD tried one and the weight is all on one shoulder and she found it very uncomfortable. I bought a sports rucksack in the end and it's lasted well & isn't too huge. Argos have lots of them here

Like the Billabong ones.
Thanks.

We got a plain navy rucksack for dd1 (9) out of millets or somewhere like it (cant exactly remember - those "outdoor" shops all look the same to me).

It cost about £9 and has been fab.
