... but I had a tiny crack in the top of my Brabantia bin. Called them up - they asked the size and if it was polished or brushed steel. Two days later, got dd's bikes out of our garden shed - and there it was, a brand new replacement.

Call me old fashioned if you like, but I think that's brilliant.

I've got one of those! Love mine. Never seen a nicer bread bin.

hunkermunker · 13/05/2005 22:43

I do too - did they teleport it into the shed?

Blossomhill · 13/05/2005 22:43

I wish I'd known that. We had to "bin" ours as the lid was broken

hercules · 13/05/2005 22:43

Does that mean it's common?

kid · 13/05/2005 22:44

We have one, not had any accidents with it yet but will make sure we contact them if we do.

hercules · 13/05/2005 22:44

Stop posting to say you have one! I feel cheapened.

Carla · 13/05/2005 22:48

Well our's is a dustbin, but must investigate those too.

hercules, no - get one, get one! My best pal has this cunning plan, where she'll 'phone up and say her top's all wrong, and I'll 'phone up and say my bottom's all wrong. However, after a glass of wine we both realised we couldn't be so nasty.

I realise now you're talking about a bin while I was talking about my Brabantia bread bin!

Carla · 13/05/2005 22:56

, and I wouldn't allow it, btw!!!
