DD2 is 2 months old, and looking very squashed in her seat with the newborn insert. Has anyone else removed it while dcs are this young? She still needs the headhugger bit, so would only be taking off the foam padded piece. I need to stop having giant babies! Lol.

I took the foam bit out when my ds was about 3.5 months and then removed the headhugger at 5 months I think.

i took mine out when dd was about 2months- way too squashed otherwise. her head flopped a bit, but she was in a better mood for it nonetheless!

Thanks, took it out this morning to do the nursery run and dd2 much happier. No floppy head either!
