Right, i am in need of four DIFFERENT lunchboxes- not those horrific bag things- they break and smell rank!

Ideally metal, but would consider plastic, complete with handles so that i don't have to carry them all They need to be individually identifiable BUT the same iyswim ie the same lunchbox but one with cars, one with tractors etc etc (one of my ocd tendencies )

I need four all in boys designs- someone send me to a nice site that will have exactly what i need for a good (cheap!) price PLEEEEAASE!

TIA x

What about these - haven't ordered from them but they look good and seem to tick all your boxes!

kitkatqueen · 22/06/2009 22:33

Found some nice ones the other day on ebay...

abermum · 22/06/2009 22:34

ooh i like- but wondering if a sandwich box will be large enough- they don't do many designs in the lunchbox size- hmm

Did you know that the bags can be machine-washed? I do mine every couple of weeks and they do not smell

weegiemum · 22/06/2009 22:40

Can I suggest Asda? They had a fabulous range last time we were looking.

Second the 'bag washing' thing - ours all get washed on a Friday and are fine.

abermum · 22/06/2009 22:40

i have done but god knows what my kids do to them- the inside always rips and the foam goes manky! I like rigid + dishwasher rinse each night!!

asda- what is this place you talk of? i'm in the back and beyond of deepest wales- morrisons and matalan are my limits so it has to be tinterweb! why oh why can't we have woolies back!

lunch boxes on Asda Direct

ChippyMinton · 22/06/2009 22:47

matalan usually have a good selection - maybe a bit early for 'back to school' stock though?

weegiemum · 22/06/2009 22:47

Ah! I also used to live in deepest darkest rural-land but now have the delights of the Bright Lights and can go to Asda any time of the day or night!

But also miss Woolies!

What Asda has at the minute seems to be all bags but they are available online for those deprivation moments!

ChippyMinton · 22/06/2009 22:49

plain but lots of colours

Yurtgirl · 22/06/2009 22:49

I dont really get why people complain about lunch bags
Mine have only ever had bags and we have had no problems - I wipe them every day after school, I have never needed to wash them though
I buy a new one each every year

abermum · 22/06/2009 22:50

they're all bags though i've just found plain plastic retro ones- maybe we could sticker them up?

How difficult can it be for someone to stock a decent range of lunch tins?

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 22/06/2009 22:51

Here but they are American

Good though!

NellieTheEllie · 22/06/2009 22:54

any good?

kitkatqueen · 23/06/2009 18:16

Today my dd's lunch bag came back containing:

A half empty drinking yogurt bottle with no lid,

2 very squashed plums

and

a pull top bottle containing water that was partially open -

DD Was shaking it as she ambled aross the playground saying "it sounds sploshy"

thats why I need a dishwasherble lunch box

kitkatqueen · 23/06/2009 18:20

lunch tins on ebay...

lots...

oopsacoconut · 23/06/2009 18:44

have you got a Paperchase? We got tin ones from there and also one from Amazon.

Nettee · 23/06/2009 18:50

I like the Emma Bridgewater ones but only see three designs on their website one a bit girly
