clarks boys shoes are ugly ia absolutly hate them . Even though ds has a pair just so i know his correct shoe size and wearing the right thing for his feet. Where else does some nice shoes/sandles? I love Naturino. Any ideas?

buckle my shoe do nice shoes, although they are quite expensive.
Next shoes are also nice & last well, but they don't do half sizes.

Startrite? Have you any independant shoe shops near you at all? I hate Clarkes too. All the girls shoes are so twee and clunky and looked really uncomfortable on dd.

Where do you live? I know some great places in London that stock Naturino, they are my favorites too.

John lewis always shove Startrite at me, for ds's wide feet. Even tho' the clarks shop manages to fit him up if we go there.
John Lewis also stock Elefanten, which are great for sandals.

Live in Camden, North West London... hmmm London stores not that practical then?

There's a great shoe store in Hampstead 'Look Whose Walking' but my favorite is a store in Fulham SW London called Pollyanna, they are just experts in fitting kids shoes and do lots of Naturino shoes. Just bought ds a cute pair of suede boots from Naturino, great.
