Where is the best place to get a DS from and all the bits you see to go with them, what do you actually need?

New to this, what offers do I need to look out for.

There seems to be loads of 'bits' to go with them, what do we need and what don't we?

I got a rigid plastic moulded cover and a car charger.

Got my games from Asda.com, much cheaper than argos etc.

But then it is just for me, i play alone, usually when flying / train journeys.

My husband was quite helpful when getting (or at least trying for) my DS

I got sticky covers for the screen, which are meant to protect it from getting scratched. And a biro-sized stylus because I find the standard one too short and fiddly. And a soft case to keep it and a few games in - but I got that free off my son's magazine...

Mine was a present, but I think it came from Argos - no idea if their deals are good or not atm.
