Need a thankyou present

A friend of mine has just given me all of her sons bedroom furniture as they have moved today. It is the exact same stuff I was going to buy myself and is in great condition and has saved me spending money i didn't have.

I am soooooo grateful as she wouldn't accept any money for it.

I want to get a nice thankyou pressie but don't know what.
Was going to get flowers but not sure wether to or not.

I think a big bunch of flowers and a card with a thoughtful message in would be appropriate, nutty.

It's the sort of thing I would do (ie give stuff away and not take money for it), and it's the kind of thankyou gesture I would appreciate.

However, I would leave it for a few days so that she has a chance to find a vase to put the flowers in!!

You could always get her an arrangement in a basket/oasis thingy that she can shove on the mantelpiece while she is unpacking.
