Does anyone have one? Do you like it? Wondering about the telescope wrap one - is it tiny?

Anyone? Or any other recommendations for tinyvacuum cleaners? Preferably ones that silently clean your house from top to bottom in the middle of the night.

There are a lot of threads about dyson in the archived threads. I had one, costed a fortune, lost suction and three years on is a useless piece of rubish. Have just got a Miele Solution, it's very silent, so strong that lifts the carpet, has a brush to remove pet hair and a hepa filter that is wonderful for DS's allergies. And it costs 100 pounds less than the Dyson.

Soz. Need archived thread police person. Cod? Come back!

Will check out Miele. Do they do a weeny cylinder one?

get a henry!

Chandra · 12/05/2005 15:15

I think it uses less space than the small Dyson.

hunkermunker · 12/05/2005 17:46

DH said where he used to work, the cleaners had Henrys and they didn't like them at all - so he won't have one!

Just looked at Miele - they look good, but the nozzley thing (I'm SO technical!) looks very long and annoying to store. I basically want one that's invisible as I don't really have anywhere to put it. Is that too much to ask?!

Well it's even worse than that... it comes with 3 small detailing noozles that are stored inside the vacuum cleaner. And it has a big one and a smaller for the pet hair, a regular one for carpets/floors and one specially made for hardwood flooring. If you think is too much to store you can ebay the pieces and keep the one you preffer. Stupid me got the one to pick up pet hair mixed with other stuff going to charity... I managed to get a second one in ebay for almost 30 pounds!!

second hand one

Evesmama · 12/05/2005 22:51

got an allergy cylinder dyson...find it doesnt have the suction i would expect from all the hype and dd is terrified of the noise it makes

although, it must be good cos the amount of fluff in it when ive finished is wonderfully disgusting

Chandra · 12/05/2005 22:55

That's the only thing I miss about the Dyson, to see how the deposit is getting full. Am I sad or what?

hunkermunker · 12/05/2005 22:57

Do have to get something soon - am fed up with elderly goblin
