Cleaning suede trousers

Here it is - the topic that does exactly what it says on the tin :0. Anyone got any tips for home cleaning black suede trousers with baby related stains on the knee? A birthday present from DH last year so revival would be tactful!

used to clean my suede shoe's by holding them over boiling water/steam and rubbing with an old toothbrush it did work on those.

What about a suede brush, it's got rubber bristles and is normaly used on shoes. Not sure where you get them from though. - Probably a shoe shop.
