Washing a maxi-cosi car seat cover

Hello,

I?ve inherited a maxi-cosi car seat (from my sister so I know it's in good condition and safe) it's one of the ones for a small baby.

I?m sure I?ve heard that the seat cover is washable but I can't see how, it's all sort of tucked in around various plastic bits i.e. the round push button at the front that tightens the straps.

Has anyone else been brave and yanked it off and been able to get it on again?

Thanks

yes i have done this a few times. there are some hook type things on the back, just slide your fingers around the edge and you should feel them. i put it in a pillow case in the machine at 30. think they're hand wash only though!
