Shown here.

Its fab! Only just released (mine delivered today) and the odea is that it can be used in the bedroom and taken away when travelling. Not used it outside the home yet BUT mainly bought for use in dd's room (love so much now getting one for ds..)

It fits to the window with suckers and has a adjustable bit (similar to whats used in kids clothes around the waist band) so can be used for any window wide or high.

Brill idea .

We had blackout blinds that were attached with velcro BUT although also fab
We found that once you "opened" the blind it did tend to remove the velcro iykwim...this design means that this won't happen.

Use mn discount and get 10% off. rrp £29.99.

Has anyone tried the Go Anywhere blind from easyblinds? Just wondering which to go for - they both use suction cups, any advice appreciated thanks!

ohdearwhatamess · 11/06/2009 19:19

I got the velcro kit from easyblinds a couple of weeks ago, after recommendations on MN.

I can confirm that it does produce total darkness. Ds2 now waking at 6ish rather than 5.

Thanks for that, but I am looking at choosing between the Gro Anywhere (new baa-baa blind), and the Go Anywhere blind from easyblinds - confusing eh?!! Can anyone shed any light? (there's a joke in there somewhere for blackout fans!!) Thanks

ive only just bought the baa baa blind for this w/e, how is this one better than the baa baa?? what improvments have i made a boo boo??

I have had the blind that ohdear has just got and it was from easy blinds and I loved it BUT hated the fact that each time I pulled it down for air/light (during the day) it lessened the velcro effect iykiwm BUT I guess this is resolved by the suction thingy ma jigs...

guess the only difference is the colour..?

Actually looking at it, I would go for the gro blind if its to travel...the gro one has adjusters built in (like on kids waist bands) so if its a smaller window you are oull the blind togther more..yet the easy blind one is one side although can be cut. Not ideal imo if you don't know size of window/s and will use it in various places.

Good if going (for examlpe) to nannas and it will only be used there, nothing to stick to the frame just suckers and size will remain the same..does that make sense..?

Yes, that does make sense, although maybe you wouldn't HAVE to cut the Go Anywhere, just leave any extra material hanging maybe... Guess its pattern versus plain. Thanks for all that, much appreciated.

shhhh · 11/06/2009 20:46

yeah, thats an option..although depends on the excess...
with the gro blind the excess kind of gathers up so isn't in the way iykwim.

Again, also depends on how OCD you are In my case VERY..!!

Woo Hoo! DS slept until 7.15 even though it was bright and sunny outside! When I went to get him he was standing up in his cot for the first time. Aaaaaahhhhhh.

Love the "maternity trousers" hems on the Gro Anywhere blind!
