Which ipod nano?

Dh has said he'd like an ipod nano for his birthday, and I have to order it from Amazon today, but I'm clueless about this sort of thing.

Should I go for 8GB or 16GB (have no idea what this means, btw ). I'm assuming it is something to do with the number of songs it can hold.

Is there anything else I need to know?

I would go for 16GB
It won't come with a case so you might want to buy that too

well it depends on your budget.

the GB size is the amount of storage it has on it, you can store photo's as well as music on it, obviously 16gb is more storage than 8gb. You don't need a case unless your DH is particularly likely to drop it

I asked a similar question a few weeks ago and ended up buying the 16gb Nano from Amazon for my dh.

I didn't get a case but he ended up buying a silicone one for £1.99 which does protect it and I would say worth getting.

Thanks all. Went for the 16gb one in the end and a cheap case - he is likely to drop it(this will be his 3rd...).
