What is the best car seat for 16 month old?

Ideally they should stay rear facing until at least 18-24 months but the longer the better really.

Brio Zento and Britax Elite should last up until about 5 years, maybe a bit longer.

i would say rf as well. we have the britax two way elite from the in car safety centre. they were really helpful and both at 14 months and 3 years love rf. there is another website www.rearfacing.co.uk which has some good info too. hth

We have the Maxi-Cosi Tobi, its great. Forward facing and really sturdy. Most of my friends kids have the same one and are really happy with it.
