I may be able to buy what ever I want but had set my heart on a second hand chicco buggy carrycot and (new) carseat cos it's what i had last time and was fab! Not so keen on the newer design but am open to suggestions. I want a carrycot for the first 6 months or so, a car seat with autofix base which can go on chassis and a buggy bit for the later years. Small folding is not an issue, have really big car! but easy of use and adjustable handle height is essential! I'm 5'2" and DH is 6' +.

So can you help, links would be great!

Thanks for all the input guys, been to mothercare today to look at a few.

I only want the car seat bit for the travel system so that i can carry newby inot the swimming pool when i get dd changed for lesson, i can't take a pram in! Otherwise i will not be using the car seat out of the car. for longer journeys too we have a britax first class which is a much better car seat for newborns imho.

Buggy wise i didn't like the bugaboo - for two reasons, the pushchair seat is very narrow and the pram bit is very flimsy (winter baby due and want a hard sided carrycot bit for extra wind protection!), also didn't like the bebecar loola, carrycot handles really odd and buggy bit narrow too.

Did like the buzz but the newer one with 4 wheels. buggy bit still quite narrow though!

am off to pram centre tom so hopefully can look at some more, keep the suggestions coming
