Are these items just a gimmick or are they really worth having? Do they really make the food healthier? Any opinions welcome. Thanks

I love mine - best bacon EVER.

I do like it. But don't buy one where the plates don't come out - they are a PITA

Mine is stuffed in a cupboard, I would prefer a griddle.

are you talking about cleaning perspective?

Are there any health benefits though?

I love my George very much!!

The plates don't come off mine so it is more awkward to clean but if it's done while the plates are still hot then it's pretty easy.

I'm not sure about the health benefits but there is always a tray full of dripped off fat at the end of cooking so must be better in the tray than left in the food.

I cook loads of things on it and it's much quicker than putting the oven on. Also, it makes excellent toasties/paninis!!

I think it is clutter and find it doesn't really taste chargrilled, is a fake line iykwim. A real griddle is on gas and tastes better.
