With all this lovely hot weather, and a holiday in Devon approaching, can anyone advise me on what the 'must haves' are - e.g. UV shelter, rugs, mats, paraols, windbreaks etc. I've got a 3 month old baby and a 2 and a half year old toddler, and want to be more efficient than last year (carrying oodles of stuff to the beach in carrier bags, and positioning towels etc over an ancient windbreak...). What are your top tips? Thanks

Cool bag or box to keep snacks/drinks and food cool and sand free.

slling for baby so that you can chase after toddler, beach shelter, big blue ikea bag to carry your stuff in (derigeur in Cornwall last week!), sunsuit for toddler so you have less skin to cover in suncream, little wetsuit for toddler so that he can play happily in the water or rockpool without getting too cold, one of those toweling poncho things... is that enough for you to carry!?
