Why is that?
It's the only place i can get gear for my kids which doesn't make them look like hos.

LynetteScavo · 29/05/2009 23:51

I had a very nice chat with a Boden customer service lady this morning.....and Jonnie is a Facebook friend of mine.

Do expand 2sugars.......

Thanks maidamess. They put so much bollocks into their customer services erm ..... service which is a complete mess. Got an email telling me something wasn't in stock, but were charging me £4.00 for sending out a leaflet. Then got an email telling me the item would be delivered - it was, but in completely the wrong colour. Today had ANOTHER effing leaflet charging me £4.00 for a £15 off Ocado coupon. The bloke I spoke to told me to ring up my bank to see if the second £4.00 leaflet had been credited to my account.

On top of all this, I get Ocado offers on average every week with this offer, so I don't want them charging me this, coming in a plastic bag (how green are you, Mr Boden), and asking me to call Barclaycard during half term to make sure they've credited me with the second £4.00. Tossers.

Oh and apparently I've been credited with the first £4.00 leaflet charge, but since I haven't had my B/C statement through yet that remains to be seen.

Sorry, meant to say Ocado offers via email every week So cross.

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 29/05/2009 23:58

They actually sent you the Ocado leflet in a bag??????

I got the leaflet - was listed as £0.00 on my order, which I thought was a bit odd. They do have free P&P atm though, so you shouldn't have been charged atall.

I would presume they would know something wasn't in stock at the time of ordering....would be cross to get an email afterwards.

Hope you get it sorted.

LynetteScavo · 29/05/2009 23:59

Oh - and don't bother with the jersy maxi dress, unless you are pg - it's hideous on.

moondog · 30/05/2009 00:01

LKBennett for frocks.
Not much more expensive and sooooooo lovley.

2sugarsandapuppy · 30/05/2009 00:05

Yes, a leaflet in a bag. Telling me it's reusable if I cut it the right way.

They're shoes, moondong, for dd1's confirmation on Thursday, and ones she particularly liked. You may or may not know what 10 year olds are like

OP posts:
LynetteScavo · 30/05/2009 00:05

LKBennet for anything really....but they are more expensive..and they haven't done a maxi dress this season.

hmc · 30/05/2009 00:11

I don't mind mini boden - but it's beginning to look a bit cliched. I'm so done with the shark and spider motif on ds' t-shirts and the cup cake on dd's t-shirt...but I'm struggling. I don't like what's out there for both children - don't want dd looking like a mini me, and frankly hoodies are not a good look for ds. Managed to find a few acceptable things for dd on Pumpkin Patch website...but it's tough, dressing your children like children and trying to avoid the twee / precocious / naff.

MollieO · 30/05/2009 01:10

They do nice shorts and polo shirts for ds. A pair of their shorts is responsible for me starting a diet tomorrow. They arrived today and they are mahoosive. Unfortunately they are a snug fit

TeaandCake · 30/05/2009 10:30

They charge 4 quid for a leaflet????

WTF?
