Obaby tandems - do they really exist?!

Have contacted all the shops that the Obaby website says are local stockists (SE London/NW Kent), but none of them have a tandem I can go look at, and can't get one in, apparently. And none of them couls say why. Are they not officially available in the UK yet or something?

I don't want to buy one online until I've had a chance to sit ds in it and see if it has the same problem as the P&T - he is tall for his age and his head won't fit under the hood.

I know you can definately buy them as a girl I know from another forum bought one for her DC - she did however buy it online.

Thanks for the replies. So do you think the quality is not very good?

I don't think the quality is near that of the P&T. Def worth the extra money.

I would buy a P&T if he would fit in it!

i agree,it worth paying the extra for the phil and teds(evan though my seat zips have broke and taking weeks for replacment,i do think phil and teds have become rather complacent!)
