I need serious buggy help....can any experts please oblige? I think I have "An impossible Quest?"

I have been looking at the people carrier/minibus problem the wrong way

I don't need 9 adult seats or even 7 adult seats......I can do with 2 cars - my mum has a Vauxhall with 7 seats - but a very small boot

That would be fine if I could fit 2 double buggies in the boot or strap them on the roof

So I need either very light double buggies (so I can lift on to the roof-rack)or very small folded double buggies (that I can fit in the boot) or one of each

What should I be looking at?

At least one should lie back flat, and they need to be suitable for a 6 ft & a 5ft pusher.

An impossible Quest?

Thanks for all your help

I guess I need to check how far apart the roof bars are; then look at the space in the boot & footwell

I am still very undecided

OK, I need to ask (sorry for hijack katymac)...

How do you get a duolite/duosport in the boot of a Zafira. I have an 05 Zafira and bought a second hand duosport from ebay thinking it would do the job. I've seen a few people on her say it fits with all 7 seats in use but I cannot get it to work! [frustrated emoticon]

The combi is fine for short people but they are not great buggies.
The thing about the roof box is that it is watertight as well, you could also put picnic bags etc in there and not have to cram them into the car.
My friend finds hers a godsend as she has twins so loads of stuff to take on hols so might be worth considering for trooping about all your mindees stuff too.

Wouldn't I need to pack a ladder too? (& how would I reach to get that down?)

Urg yes combi is vile...a friend got one and I had to sell it for her on ebay.

I couldn't wait to get it out of my home, it felt somehow irreverent, in the house of a pram hun lover.

I think the duolite/duosport at different times had different wheel sizes which could make a difference, you may also need one of the newer zafiras as they have a slightly larger boot. Anyway apparantly it's on its side according to my childminder.

Still wavering about it all

I'm so bloody decisive.....not
