My son is almost 4.

Last time I measured him he was 107.5cm. This was December iirc.

Today he is wearing aged 5 trousers - for 110cm.

I suppose he could have grown 2.5cm since December but that makes him as tall as a five year old.

Tis costing a fortune in clothes as he is growing out of some after only a few wears. As aged 5-6 or aged 6 are too long.

Not sure of point of post, I guess I am wondering if anyone else has the same trouble.

I find sizes vary enormously from one brand to the next.
DD is 5 and her clothes vary from age 3/4 to 7
Its getting increasingly difficult to buy clothes without her actually being there with me.

Also they do go through some mad costly growth spurts

my boys have been small for their age so clothes last ages. trousers always bought big and worn with turn ups! trousers last at least a year in our house! my youngest tho is quite a chunky monkey and don't last as long!

I don't mind if he wears his brother's hand me downs for a short time but it is annoying when I buy him new stuff and they are too short after a few wears. Big pile of almost new clothes just tormenting at me.
