If you have ever had the colours run in your clothes.........Here is my recommendation

Use them in washing machine

COLOUR CATCHER --- by GLO CARE

You get them in TESCO

You put the sheets into washing machine with clothes

You can use them over and over again several times

I have got a chocolate and white top and the white is still pure white.

would they work on t shirts with coloured body and white sleeves iyswim

RTKangaMummy · 04/05/2005 17:45

sure they would

My top is chocolate brown with white collar and cuffs

If unsure use several of them to start with for first washes

It is a pink box with 20 sheets in

If it is first wash with dark clothes that are vital

Maybe use 2 to be really safe

But we only did that on first wash although my mum said it was not needed

You can use them for several washes and they change colour

Yes BUT be careful they don't get stuck in the machine outlet pipe ! My mums machine has done this twice.

So MY Top Tip is put them inside one of those washing machine tablet bags so you don't loose them.

They are very good by the way - never tried re-using them though. With a small load I rip them in half !

good idea Whizz

dont know but when i do a colour wash some of the clothes has little patches which look like they have been bleached, i do ocassionally bleach ds's exceptionally grubby vests maybe theres still some in it?

RTKangaMummy · 04/05/2005 20:30

perhaps run a rinse cycle through beforehand or put an old towel in on quick wash

Or phone manufactures and ask them?

Is it the type of powder used?

does it have extra bleach?

charleepeters - Have you packed the machine too full? I find this happens to my wash if there isn't enough room for the clothes to wash properly. I also only use half the amount now ie 1 x tablet per wash makes a box go twice as far and I still end up with clean clothes.
