HELP! I need a Toddler Bed that is 133cms or less in length

Has anyone managed to find a shorter than standard toddler bed? They all seem to be about 145cms long (kiddicare, GLTC etc).

I need it to be 133cms or under to fit in DS's room and still be able to fit his drawers with table top changer in there.

Am desperate as DS starting to climb and his cot is a not a cotbed because we had the same issue finding one that would fit the space.

Any website hints would be hugely appreciated.

I don't want to spend more than 200 pounds including mattress as eventually we'll move him into DD's room and put bunkbeds in there.

TIA.

Have you tried the extendable ones in ikea?

Sycamoretree · 17/05/2009 20:24

is he too long for the cot at the moment or is it just the case that he's climing out?

what we did to prolong life of cot before a big bed was to take one side off the cot (the side with movable function)- it was still pretty stable and got dd1 used to having a bed. we put a safety gate across her door so she couldn't go wandering down the stairs at night..

If the extendable ones don't go short enough I think that you'll have problems finding one tbh.

I like twinkyltoes idea.

DD was in her cot with the side off for about 6 months before moving to a big bed. Worked out fine, the mattress was really low so she could climb in and out. She fell out once, and carried on sleeping! We put her change mat and a blanket on the floor for the first month or so until we were sure she was safe.

Think you'll struggle for a toddler bed that short unless you're good at DIY

WELLLLLLL ladies - think again!

I would not be defeated and googled into the wee small hours with SilverFox's initial suggestion of extendable bed in my google box and lo and behold, look what bargain I find, with mattress included!

120cmsatsmallest!

There were only 5 in stock last night, and only 3 this morning.

Silver - I owe you huge debt of gratitude!
