Sorry, I know this has been done before, but... which car to fit three car seats along a single row?

We're expecting no. 3 in the summer and are thinking about which car to get as there is no way we can get three car seats in our ford focus. I've done a number of searches, but a lot of them are quite old now so thought I would ask the question again - which cars can fit three high backed (i.e. not booster seats) along the back row.

So far ones that seem to have been recommeneded in searches I've done include:
Citroen Grand Picasso
Citroen Picasso
Renault Grand Senic
Volkeswagen Touran

Does anyone have any views on the above or can they recommend anything else. Many thanks.

I went from an estate to a "bus" very soon after I passed my driving test, and was amazed at how much easier it was to drive the MPV, so don't rule them out. My Citroen C8 has a smaller turning circle than DH's little Seat Ibiza , and is so much easier to park than the estate we used to have (wheels are on the corners, so there are no extra bits of car to bump into railings and the like ).

Hi - we went from a Vauxhall Zafira to a Citroen C8 when DC3 arrived. It's perfect and would definitely recommend.

Hijack away! It's all good info to help me make my choice.

Sidge, we've had no problems at all, but we've only had it 6 months. All of the info I read before we bought it suggested that any initial issues with it had been ironed out and it was as reliable as you would expect any car to be. I'd definitely recommend taking one for a test drive!

I certainly will do - thank you!

would the c max be an option for those fo you not wanting a MPV? Fiat Multipla are really ugly but so child friendly and really spacious!

From personal experience:
Ford S max
Citroen picasso
Volkswagen Touran
