Nomad travel cot - nervous about using it. Help!

I bought a Nomad travel cot after reading rave reviews of it but was surprised by how large it is when up. It seems very large for a tiny baby, and also, should you use the fitted sheet and baby in a grobag in it? I feel rather confused and as I am about to use it I wonder whether I've made a mistake and should have got something littler and pop-up instead. We're going camping in a fortnight but I plan to use it this week in friends houses, and it seems almost too massive... Our DS is 12 weeks old.

Please share your experiences and either set my mind at rest or let me know whether I ought to get something a bit more user friendly!

We need a bigger one.... we could swap!

Only kiddin. DD looked TINY in hers a t first but with nive grobag she probably couldn;t tell the difference!

I suppose the only concern is if its too big for your tent. Ours is too smll now and we wish we'd got a bigger one [though this onw was given to us so we appreciated it!] Stick with it and enjoy the longevity of it. Your son will grow to fill it quicker than you think.
