Where to buy a toy bus?

Hi. My DD keeps asking about getting a bus to play with - for some reason she keeps dreaming about buses (I am sure the significance of that would make a good thread on another board). Other then the Vtech phonics bus that I have seen in Argos does anyone know where I can get a toy bus to play with? I do not want a small matchbox type tin bus but something bigger. Thanks

I got a bendy bus in Mothercare. I got some double deckers too, but at Abingdon Airshow...

elc bus

Thanks all.

The ELC one might do - Hamleys nice too. Do you know what make the bendy bus from Mothercare - is it Mothercare's own?

I suspect there is a lot more variety then this - just a matter of trying to find them.

Has anyone spotted any others?

We have a Little People one, both DCs loved it for ages. Try eBay.

John Lewis sell bendy buses too (can't remember the make)

WH Smith do a red double decker wooden bus with approx 12 little wooden people. Its strong and its currently half price (I think £15.)

I bought it my ds (ASD) and he loves it and it has coped with some rough play (and standing on!) He has a bus obsession and it is the best one we can find.

We have the Hamleys one that purplemonkey linked to (hand-me-down from posh cousins) - if you can stretch to £30, it's fab. Everyone who comes round plays with it. (Well, everyone who's under 10, anyway.)

we have the red wooden WH smith one too, bought xmas 2007 and still going strong with lots of use by ds2 who's 3.4yr and ds3 22m.

We have a big one, it is by Bluebird i think? Quite old - was my toy when i was wee, but it is still as good as new, and ds sits on it and wheels around like a ride on, he throws it around, it's taken some beating in its time and is still like new.
The date on it is 1982, but i was in 1986, so i guess it was bought 2nd hand for me, then my bro and sis used it.
