I need a lighweight foldable pushchair for ds 6mths to use in airports/fold into car for trips away- half our families live abroad so a decent one will be required as it will get a good ammount of use

im undecided between something like the quinny zapp or petit star zia or a macclaren quest

any advice or reccomendations welcomed

quinny zapp would get my vote and get the travel bag for it too. it folds small enough to go in plane overhead locker which is fantastic when you get off the plane and the carousel is a trek away (esp gatwick coming home late at night!!)

Maclaren Quest is very good. I bought it for plane trips etc.

downside of zapp is no recline do you think he will need to nap in it?

pingviner · 11/05/2009 20:11

will probably need to nap occasionally [hopeful emoticon]

your ds will be better in the zia or quest, not the zapp. the zapp doesnt recline

pingviner · 11/05/2009 21:01

does the zia recline then
thought id take the babu out tommorow and try a few so i'll remember that, thanks
