French hypermarkets sell great stuff, if you or someone you know is going on holiday there this summer.

We bought a huge casserole dish with lid made by Chasseur. I think it was on special offer at the time too (from Amazon) and its been fab.

Not sure on what colours they had but ours is a deep, dusky purple colour

And someone on MN linked to this a while ago - I haven't bought it yet but might one day.

NorbertDentressangle · 10/05/2009 18:54

Actually I just looked at the Chasseur ones on Amazon and although they have a lovely red colour they're not cheap -I think ours was obviously a one-off special price

Disenchanted3 · 10/05/2009 18:56

what about this?? Do you think it would be good quality?

JOhn Lewis have their own version iirc...

Ikea I think...

mrsmaidamess · 10/05/2009 19:52

Yes Ikea do it, but the only colour I have seen is apple green. TK Maxx?

Disenchanted3 · 10/05/2009 21:02

They only seem to have blue on Ikea website.

I think I'll have to check big TKMaxx's only problem is they tend to just have bit and pieces rather than whole sets.
