Recommend me a Rocking Horse (or other animal)

My daughter had a go on a friend's Lotty Ladybird the other day and loved it so I'm thinking about getting her one for her 1st birthday. However, I'm concerned that a little one like that won't last long and she will have outgrown it within 6 months. Does anyone have any recommendations for one which she can enjoy now but will last until she is older as well?

There's a good selection from

Mamas & Papas

TBH we started with a small one when dd1 was little and then when was about 3 or 4 we bought a full size one.

Thank you, will have a look.
While searching I came across this one. Taking minimalism a little far??!!

That's funny!

The stanley snail and butterfly from the mamas and papas range look very pretty but the child is going to be very constricted as they get older so it will lose its play value.
I tend to recommend to customers a more traditional horse type thing without the sides, the one that converts to the wheels is excellent and a popular choice.

Minimalist hippo, anyone?

These are good. DD learned to rock one at the age of 12 months and now, aged 19 months, can rock them REALLY hard! She doesn't actually have one herself, just uses one at playgroup. The one we have at home (bought for her first birthday) is a lovely soft furry horse, but has a very 'flat' rocker so seems a bit tame now.
