Can you recommend a tough portable DVD player with car kit?

I want to get a portable DVD player for my 3 year old ds to keep him amused on the long drive down to the south of France and when we want a little peace and quiet while we're there! Any recommendations? Would prefer something under £100.

we have this
its more expensive than you said but does have good battery life> the car kit is sturdy. the only thing that threw me is it runs off the car power not the battery when attatched to the back of the headrest.

Thank hifi, that does look good. I guess you get what you pay for.

I have one which takes my iPod.

useful if you have an iPod (not being facetious) as I store all the dvds on the ipod, then plug ipod in and away we go.

has a car charger, and has been a lifesaver for us.

seems quite robust - dd1 (4.8, autistic) hasn't managed to break it yet.

think it was around £120

Sounds interesting silverfrog. I have an iPhone so I guess it would work with that? Not sure if I want lots of kids movies cluttering up my memory though! What make is it?

it's made by iLuv.

NOt sure if it does take the iPhones - although I htink there is another model due out.

the site www.i-luv.com/ is American - i found mine in Costco though.

I have an 80Gb iPod (actually bought with children's viewing on the move in mind, but they had to make do with small screen beofre), so cluttering not top of my issues!
