Pleeeease?

I'm tying myself in ever tighter knots trying to research a boring bloody cooker.

leisure - (now called rangemaster). love it. but yes it is dull. what do you do? do you bake, bash le creuset about or are you more off a clean freak/halogen kinda gel?

Definitely the former Goat.

We have a very small kitchen. I'm currently favouring a Cannon dual fuel 60cm (with double oven)....

....oops, sorry! Dropped off for a while there.
Anyway, now I've read a terrible review for Cannon. Oh I don't know.

In three weeks it will be an aga, gas fired. I have a stoves range fiasco and I hate it. It's too hot it's too grey and it's too plasticky - and you have to clean it! Ugh!

Might have to sell horse or child to manage the bills but don't care. The aga is on it's way.

I have a Belling. It's OK, I It tends to burn things though, the heat distribution is not equal so things cook faster at the back of the oven then the front (a pie will be burnt at one side but not the other).

Smeg six burner, very snazzy. The thermocouples keep dying on it (the bit that tells the burner that it's ok, it's hot and hasn't gone out, so you don't need to switch off). This means the bloody flame keeps going out on two burners. Also the decals on the front that say which burner you're lighting just come straight off with not much cleaning. AND the little light bulb in the oven needs ever single bit of oven taking out to get to it to change it. Would not recommend although it does look great and will prob sell the house to someone one day.

no to smeg - style over substance imo.

Bosch built in one, electric. Came with the house, but was almost new then (3 years ago). Has been a bit disappointing. One seal has had to be replaced, and needs replacing again, and the lower oven won't go above 150 degrees. I wouldn't get another Bosch, tbh.

Looks nice and shiny though.
