Cleaning the carry handle on a Bugaboo Cameleon

Has anyone ever successfully cleaned the black carry handle on a bugaboo chameleon chassis? My DS loves to chew on his, and as such it has a delightful film of disgusting yuk all over it. Any tips?

Don't use a bagby wipe is all I can say as they get fluff on them going to just do it in the sink and leave it to dry, it's just plastic and foamy stuff so I think hot soapy water would be fine, will report back.

I bought a cover for my bumper bar from Bagabottle, to prevent it getting mucky and to cover up nibble marks.
