Maxi Cosi and black cabs

Hi there,

On leaving the hospital - does the Maxi Cosi strap into black taxi cabs. I've looked at the instructions and assume it does but just wanted to ask Mumsnetters.

Also, are black cab drivers generally happy to allow this arrangement?

Yes it will on the back seat not the flip down seats and i have not had any problems using a car seat in a black taxi.
