Are those big foam interlocking pad things for the garden any good?

I was thinking of getting DS a paddling pool for the summer but our garden is not exactly huge about 25ft long and 15ft wide with a path down the middle and all our grass is on a slope but we have a concrete bit down the bottom next to the house so was thing of putting it there.

Obviously a paddling pool on concrete not the best idea so was wondering what those pad things are like would they be enough to cushiona fall? Are they big enough?

Or should I just leave paddling pool idea?

bloody brilliant - but you will need a lot of them.

I did exactly that in an old house that only had a slabbed yard.

I got 2 packs with numbers or something on I think. They were about £8 a pack i think, but they did the job and we used them alot.
