wombleprincess · 02/05/2009 17:58

not threewheeler, stokke xplory. very easy to move.

MerlinsBeard · 02/05/2009 18:06

can you get lightweight rear facing 3 wheelers? would have thought that they would have balance issues with older children rear facing

sazm · 02/05/2009 18:30

i think the only rearfacing 3 wheelers are big ones like the urban detour/britax vigour
but they are prob closer to 12-15kg,

Bertini's or emmaljunga's have air tyres like the three wheelers but i'm afraid it's a case of buying a pram for a new born and a pram for a toddler, the only one i used all the way through was my huge silvercross balmoral.

lightweight rear facing 3 wheeler

I have to sing the praises of the Bee. I started with an iCandy Apple, through a Maclaren, Luna and Moon Kiss (like a Zia 4) and have recently bought a Bee. Although DD is 15 months she is so snug in it when it's laid flat and she sleeps in it better than any of the others. I can imagine if you have the newborn nest in there it would be super cosy and it does lie very flat. I would go straight for it if I had my time again.

Mothercare do a rear facing three wheeler (think its called mychoice), not that lightweight though, but is suitable for a newborn.

naomi83 · 03/05/2009 06:48

If you don't mind giving up rear facing than the nipper 360 is the pefect lightweight 3 wheeler

sorry to jump in, but how much does the mia moda weigh, and does it push nicely?

abermum · 05/05/2009 14:25

FRAME 5.8 KG
SEAT UNIT 4.9 KG
CAR SEAT- NO IDEA BUT QUITE LIGHT

SO 10.7 KG AS A COMPLETE STROLLER

Handles very nicely- good strong and reliable stroller- do you want one??

naomi83 · 05/05/2009 18:17

i got very excited, but 10.7kg isn't really light at all...
