Says it all really, I'm not in the UK so can't just take it back to the shop I got it from. It is 16 months old thanks for any help.

which part of th eworld are you in? Do they sell bugaboo pranms there?

Northernlurker · 29/04/2009 18:21

Bugaboo after sales service is supposed to be really good - can you e-mail the shop and ask them to contact Bugaboo on your behalf?

I'd try to contact Bugaboo first, if you get no joy try taking it to a bike shop at a quiet time of day. The brake cable is probably the same as you would use on a bike but shorter.

Thanks for all your help so far. I did return the warranty card to Bugaboo after I bought the buggy in Scotland and I have just emailed their service department to see what they suggest. I am in Spain now.

if they sell bugaboo over there you may be asked to return it to a service centre in Spain where they will probably replace the chassis for you. Bugaboo customer service are really good.

ramonaquimby - because of hills, small slopes, wind, traffic, animals, fidgeting babies etc etc - basically sometimes BAD THINGS would happen if you don't have a brake!

Hey MrsMC not much practical use to offer here as I don't have one but several mum mates have taken their bugaboos back to John Lewis to have the chasis replaced some more than once as there are known faults so even after time there's no debate.

Thanks I got a call yesterday after my email and they are sending me a new brake cable by courier. So far very impressed with their service
