can you help me find maxi cosi car seat straps please?

i was kindley given a maxi cosi car seat from freecycle to go with my quinny pram but there is mould on the straps and my friend said that some moulds can cause cot death so got me a bit worried iv been googling but i can find anything!

try dettox mould remover on them,it should work,

so you dont think i need to replace them if i can get the mould off?

I looked into ordering some new straps from Maxi Cosi and discovered they cost a fortune. Try the mould remover and a thorough wash first.

Though that was for a Stage 1 car seat, they are probably cheaper for a Stage 0. I think I contacted them directly, but maybe a nursery equipment shop could find out the cost for you and order them if you do need to buy new ones.

ok thanks ill get some mould remover and give them a good scrub! there is a little pram/baby shop near me ill ask them too

Did you have any luck with the straps? I have the same problem...
