My god they are fantastic - like a little green jelly fish clinging to the edge of your toilet bowl.

I don;t think many of you will understand my joy! I took DH into the bathroom to show him last night and he did not share either!

Yes, a little green jelly fish almost irresistible to small poking fingers...

Wilts · 28/04/2009 11:03

I share your joy too

I got them on an offer a while back thinking it was worth a try and was very impressed.

Although I forgot to take the cap off the 'plunger thing' and couldn't work out where said sticky bit had gone

horsemadgal · 28/04/2009 11:19

I did that too Wilts!
DS loves them.

TsarChasm · 28/04/2009 11:21

Lol at taking dh into the bathroom to show him

It's funny, but things like that make me happy too

Mind you I haven't tried one of those yet. They look a bit like someone has sneezed onto the toilet bowl.

MadameCastafiore · 28/04/2009 11:26

Noooooo they look like bright green emeralds clinging to your toilet bowl (and they smell lovely) nothing like horrid boggies!

YES I love them too!! you are not alone, we oughta start a cageless rim block appreciation society...
....no?
Just me then.

akhems · 01/05/2009 11:58

I love them and my dp gets really excited over them the blue ones are nice too

hippipotamiHasLost20Pounds · 01/05/2009 11:59

How long will they stay emerald and lovely looking?
I am worried that within a few weeks they are no longer shiny and fragrant and it will look like a ginormous green slimy bogie...

MadameCastafiore · 01/05/2009 12:01

You are not allowed to join the society saying things like that - shame on you!

OP posts:
jumpingbeans · 01/05/2009 12:03

I am going to get me some, so can i join?

ChippyMinton · 01/05/2009 12:04

Oh that's what they are! I stayed at a friend's the other week and wondered what the slimey green thing was...I don't use anything, since DS1 pulled a block out of my mum's loo, and ate it.

Curiousmama · 01/05/2009 12:07

I don't use anything either but am tempted to get these. DP's mum has them and loves them. I know DP will share my joy too

stripeypineapple · 01/05/2009 12:07

I bought those, thought they weren't great at first but then after a week or two they started to slide and splurge down the side of the loo and looked horrible, just like someone had snotted down it.

Did I do something wrong? Did that not happen to anyone else?

Baisey · 01/05/2009 12:13

Im hoping mine will act as a target for when my DS is finally peeing in the loo.
Also for DH when he comes back from a boys night out....

stealthsquiggle · 01/05/2009 12:55

my experience would match yours, stripeypineapple - but still better than normal rimblocks or smelly toilets, so I will persevere (and/or hope that someone comes and tells us what we did wrong)

whingeomatic · 01/05/2009 13:01

mine didn't slide & snot, stripey - just sort of wore off...

I am in awe of them - the applicator gadget thing actually made DH want to clean the toilet
