IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR CHOCOLATE LOVERS

I've never seen this mentioned here before, you may all know about it anyway, but if you have a Sainsburys Nectar card or belong to their Drinks Club, they send you a voucher a few weeks before your birthday for a free £4.99 box of Thorntons as a birthday present.

I don't know if it only applies if you had a Reward card before Nectar started (we did), or if completing a Nectar form from Sainsburys will still do the trick, or if there's a minimum spend to qualify - but anyway I am guiltily working my way through mine right now (having kept them hidden from the kids for 3 weeks!)

Ah - maybe there is more to it than that! DH got one last Sept and DD1 and I both got one this month so I assumed everybody would...hope I haven't upset you, Grommit

Aimsmum, I did try passing round the chocolate on MN the other afternoon but sadly it didn't work and I had to eat it all myself

Really, fairydust? Tell her they're very good and extremely naughty!

I am really puzzled now though - and feeling even guiltier, so I'd better finish them quickly and get it over with ).

Can I hijack slightly?

If you like good quality chocolate, then have a go at this
I signed up 2 months ago, received my second parcel yesterday, and they are FANTASTIC.

Very rich, can't eat more than a couple at a time tho' (so not that difficult if you are watching your weight)

really Janh my grandmother worked there before her and now my sister does i'm the only one who missed.

Employee's get to get as much chocolate as they won't whilst worknig but they can't bring any out.

Unfortunatley i don't like thorntons - and as usual have a cubard full (dh loves it) as mum gets a nice discount.

I got free moisturiser for my birthday last year. Would rather have had the chocolates. Dp has never had anything and we have a joint nectar card.

I have a nectar card (was the old reward card), and a credit card, but have never had any sort of gift from them. And when I think how much we spend at sainsburys .......

Dh and I have both had vouchers for Thorntons chocs. No one else I know has received the offer - weird, huh?

Today I received Sainsbury's latest triple points offer - I have to spend 130gbp each week to qualify! I might spend that on special occasions but every week???

HotelChocolat is the place to be if you love chocolate. Fantastic! (if not a little pricey)

I have had a brainwave - possibly! - maybe some people didn't put their DOB on the form when they applied (on the grounds that it wasn't essentail information)?

I have never been invited to a makeover photoshoot, Pamina! (Do you suppose they realise I don't need improvement? )

Choc flying over - only have the fruity ones left I'm afraid

Montezumas are pretty scrummy too.

Never had any free chocolate from my Nectar card. Maybe I ticked the "not interested in offers/promotions" box?
