Has anyone seen old-fashioned style travel cots recently?

They sort of fold in a W shape making a shape like a cot end rather than a box shape like the now traditional travel cots

TIA

KatyMac - do you stay in the room with them when they are asleep? If you do how about ready beds? If not I suppose you have to have cots for safety reasons to stop them being able to hurt eachother if one wakes up before you get to them?

Nope we are next-door

I'll find some, somehow

What about installing baby/video monitors in the sleeping room so you know when they are awake? Then could you use mats/ready beds?

KatyMac · 02/05/2009 22:30

Maybe

I'll have to think about the legal implications of that (plus the cost )

My friend who is a CM has this one.

I know she had to ask all the parents permission. All her parents at the moment agreed - they liked the extra security of it. She did have 1 parent last year say no and it meant even though the other parents had said yes if that one child was there she couldn't switch it on, but that was explained to the other parents and they were ok about it.
