Getting dd 6 a DS for her birthday. Can anyone recommend any good games? Also - is it worth getting the DSi or stick to a DS lite?

I am considering one for ds 9to be 6) too. I was thinking aboyut nintendogs as he likes animals...but that only seems to come as a package with a girly pink console! I'm thinking Dsi is too advanced for a 6 year old.

My DD is 6 and the games she has are, tom and jerry tales, scooby doo, bee movie, duckamuck (Brill) cooking mama 1+2, happy feet, nintendodogs, fashion designer and imagine gymnast, all she plays with and enjoys. We get ours from Play.com or the hut.com.
