Help....Hotpoint washing machine stuck on lock

programme finished went in and all the lights were flashing now cannot open door. anyone know if theres a manual door release?

this has to happen in the midst of potty training, great!!!

Try turning it off. Then use the drain cycle, which should open the door???

If that does not work, our washing machine door got stuck shut last week when somebody accidentally put the 'child lock' on.

Ours is a Bosch but a lot of machines have them. Check your instruction book for details.

no ours doesn't have a child lock, im sure none of them have touched it (this time!!)
