Cosatto front wheel broken - help!

Hi there, please help me. My hubby who stays at home with our 3 lovely darlings has managed, (within 3 weeks of me returning to work,) break the front RH wheel on the Casatto Pheonex pram. I am quite cross, (prams are not really desired for off roading in my opinion,) and its the best pram we've ever had. I hasten to add that the 2 other prams we had before this one mysteriously got broken wheels. Anyway its a 3rd hand pram and although ive contacted Cosatto, they think it will be difficult to get hold of a replacement wheel. Anyone out there with some ideas, I really don't want to scrap it, sob!

lots of prams are truly designed for offroading, just some last longer than others unfortunately.

Yeah, but they haven't been tested by my hubby who I think managed to break this one by taking pram down to the allotment!!!

Thats fine tho if a proper off roader mountain buggy for example? i took my p&t everywhere, through fields, mud, sand, snow, ice, gravel etc was ok.

Spent ages trying to find my pram on ebay with no luck. Have just pre-ordered a Graco from Argos as I can't stand it any more. Going to pick it up today. I'll keep hold of the Cossato and try and get it fixed in slower time, then if I do get it fixed, I'll have a spare. Getting a stock of car seats now though, that's 3 and counting!

Not sure a Graco will fare much better - very plasticky/terrible quality - if your hubby is a bit 'rough' with it. Is the one you have an umbrella stroller with a car seat on it? That does make them quite heavy. Depends how you use it as you can only use the car seat with it for a max of 2 hours so not designed to be used a lot iyswim??

Tell him it's his version of the family car, he'll soon be taking the wheels off to polish them etc as it will be his pride and joy!!
