we went into notts today to get a little girls pink mac that we'd seen in m&s surprise surpise they no longer stocked it no prob i thought i'll order it online - it's disapered on line.

So i need help to find another one - next have some but you now need an account to order online from them and don't want the hassel of that.

Anyone got any ideas?

they do some nice ones in sainsburys at the mo

bundle · 27/04/2005 15:00

do you mean a proper coat or a cagoule thing? we got the latter in woollies, they had them in pink or silver, pretty cheap too.

fairydust · 27/04/2005 15:01

sainsburys don't do clothes in ours

Milletts - have just got a lovely peter storm pink one for Dd £15. properly waterproof and everything with concealed hood. Couldn't believe they did anything so stylish - everyone who has seen it wants one for their dd.

fairydust · 27/04/2005 15:01

a proper coat -

La Redoute or Vertbaudet have a rather nice strawberry pink summer raincoat, quite formal and grown-up looking if that is what you are after. I'll try and do a link if so.

katzguk · 27/04/2005 15:02

what about this one?

WigWamBam · 27/04/2005 15:03

If it would be any use to you I've got a barely-worn M&S 3-way raincoat that you could have if you wanted it.

We will be sending dd off in due course in a dark green effort that looks like a tarpaulin
Is the Vertbaudet link I posted any use? They are having trouble selling the orange version and as I have no taste I snapped one up for dd when she is three. It is cute and nicely made.

Tinker · 27/04/2005 15:14

Adams have got pink ones with dots on

Miaou · 27/04/2005 15:33

Fairydust my dd has this one from muddy puddles - very durable and a nice shape too.

The photo makes it look slightly darker than it is, although it is a bit darker than the Next one that you put a link to.

marialuisa · 27/04/2005 15:56

FD-i have last year's Next pink mac in 3-4 if you want it. It's showerproof rather than 100% cotton like the one in the link you posted though. Would it do a turn until you could get hold of something? I'm near Derby/notts so post would probably be quick.

Debenhams had some nice ones in the J Junior range & the John Rocha childrens range, like the one you've posted with matching sou'westers. Not available online I think.
I bought this one not quite what you wanted but it's lined & nicely finished. It's quite big made DD is 3.5 & I bought 2-3 which will do her now & September showery time too

Grommit · 27/04/2005 16:27

Bought dd one from H&M - lovely
